These Terms and Conditions ("Legal Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, services, and digital or physical products provided by Open Door Interior Design, a DBA of Allison Alvarez ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Legal Terms.
If you do not agree with any of these terms, you must not access or use our website or services.
1. DEFINITIONS
Services: Refers to the website, digital downloads, and physical products offered for sale by Open Door Interior Design.
User: Refers to any individual or entity who accesses or uses the Services.
Contributions: Refers to any content, feedback, reviews, or suggestions you submit through the Services.
Products: Includes both digital downloads and vintage/used physical goods available for purchase through the website.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing and using the Services, you agree to comply with these Legal Terms, including any future modifications we may make. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Services.
3. USER ELIGIBILITY
To access or use the Services, you must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into legally binding contracts. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these criteria.
4. CONSULTATIONS AND QUOTES
After each consultation, you will receive a quote via email that outlines the estimated cost and scope of the project. If you agree to the quote, you will receive a welcome packet and a link to pay the first installment. No work will be performed until you sign the contract and make the required payment.
5. SALES POLICY FOR DIGITAL PRODUCTS AND PHYSICAL GOODS
Due to the nature of our digital products and antique/vintage goods, all items are final sale. No exchanges or returns will be accepted. We make every effort to provide accurate descriptions and images of our products. By purchasing any item, you acknowledge and accept that these products are non-returnable.
Damaged Items: If your item arrives damaged, you must send a photo of the damaged product within 2 days of delivery to qualify for a 30% refund. "Damaged" refers specifically to items that are broken or bent beyond repair due to transit. Minor chips, cracks, or imperfections inherent to the organic, aged nature of vintage products are not considered damages for refund purposes. We reserve the right to withhold the refund if the client refuses to provide photos of the damage or if the item can be reasonably repaired. Client must show receipt of purchase.
6. SHIPPING
Processing Time: All orders are processed within 1-3 business days from the time the order is placed. Orders will be shipped during business hours, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Delivery Times: Estimated delivery times vary based on the destination. Domestic orders typically arrive within 5-10 business days, while international orders may take longer due to customs processing and shipping distances. Delivery times are not guaranteed, and delays may occur.
7. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Services or the networks or services connected to the Services.
Harass, annoy, intimidate, or threaten any of our employees or agents engaged in providing any portion of the Services.
Attempt to bypass any measures of the Services designed to prevent or restrict access to the Services, or any portion of the Services.
Copy or adapt the Services' software, including but not limited to Flash, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, or other code.
Except as permitted by applicable law, decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any of the software comprising or in any way making up a part of the Services.
Use a buying agent or purchasing agent to make purchases on the Services.
Make any unauthorized use of the Services, including collecting usernames and/or email addresses of users by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited email.
Use the Services as part of any effort to compete with us or otherwise use the Services and/or the Content for any revenue-generating endeavor or commercial enterprise.
8. SERVICES MANAGEMENT
We reserve the right to monitor the Services for violations of these Legal Terms and take appropriate action, including without limitation, restricting access or removing Contributions. We also reserve the right to remove excessive or burdensome content from the Services.
9. TERM AND TERMINATION
These Legal Terms remain in effect as long as you use the Services. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services for any reason, including a violation of these terms. Upon termination, you are prohibited from registering a new account under any name.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services, including but not limited to data loss, delays, or damaged products. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the services.
11. CORRECTIONS
We may update product descriptions, pricing, and availability at any time. While we make every effort to provide accurate information, we reserve the right to correct errors without notice.
12. MODIFICATIONS AND INTERRUPTIONS
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at our discretion. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Services, and we are not responsible for any issues that arise due to maintenance or other disruptions. If you are experiencing interruptions, do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to address the situation.
13. DISCLAIMERS
The Services are provided "as-is" and without warranties. We disclaim all implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
